We are seeking a skilled Data Science Manager to join their team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in implementing and enhancing machine learning projects, with a focus on customer-centric applications. Rate in USD: 35 per hour Key Responsibilities The ML Engineering Manager is responsible for mentoring and leading a small team of ML Engineers and Scientists to architect, develop and implement ML models, to empower internal stakeholders to take data-driven decisions.Project examples include product recommendations based on customer behavior, optimizing algorithms to enhance upselling potential and identify new business opportunities, churn models, sentiment analysis, Chatbots and virtual assistants, dynamic pricing models, fraud detection, customer segmentation, to name a few. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field. 8+ years of proven experience in architecting and implementing machine learning projects, specifically in areas mentioned above, Proven success record delivering data products with a business impact. 2+ years of experience leading data teams, while staying hands-on. Proficiency in Python/R programming with knowledge of Pandas, NumPy, and SciKit-Learn. Strong background in math, statistics, and data processing/ETL (SQL skills are a plus). In-depth knowledge of supervised and unsupervised machine learning algorithms. Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure. Proficient in data visualization tools and effective communication of results to business teams.
